LEVEL I FLEXIBILITY FOR DANCERS REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

New Body Yoga and The Studio of Dance, Inc. have partnered to create a series of classes geared exclusively to meet the needs of dancers. Regardless of your level this class is guaranteed to help you gain flexibility, strength, focus and balance besides developing strength of character and self confidence. If you are a dance student or a performer, this class is for you. The program opened with Level I Flexibility for Dancers on AUGUST 2011. The class starts at 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm.
The class premise is that in order to see progress in flexibility or strength, you have to work on a consistent and systematic basis. The student won't see any significant progress unless there is consistency for at least 10 weeks if not more. A body in movement is a healthy body, and better yet, a flexible one. This class is a focused fusion flow class that will start with gentle stretching, balance, leading to strength and resistance stretching, and finishing with cool down and relaxation. This class teaches the student how to achieve flexibility, strength and balance in a safe way without pulling muscles or ligaments nor injuring the body. The student will work with focus while having fun in the process.
